We're giving away £200,000 in Community Mental Health & Wellbeing Grants

14/10/25

We are pleased to announce that the Community Mental Health and Wellbeing Grants funded by Humber Teaching NHS Foundation Trust and ourselves are back!

We have an amazing £200,000 to give away to local organisations that work to improve the mental health and wellbeing of adults in the community across Hull and East Yorkshire. These qualifying organisations can apply for any amount between £250 and £5000.

Supporting health and wellbeing has never been more important, and these grants are designed to help strengthen local communities by funding projects that improve both mental and physical health.

Anita Green, Health Stars Charity Manager said: “We are proud to support local organisations through our Community Grant Scheme. Last year we funded some lovely projects including therapeutic craft workshops to improve mental health and a film club aimed at reducing isolation.

“We can’t wait to see what amazing projects people we can help fund to create healthier and happier communities in Hull and East Yorkshire.”

Applications will be considered from any community or voluntary sector organisation that can evidence how they are making a difference to improving the way in which adults and communities manage their emotional health and wellbeing and can evidence improvements to mental and physical health.

By investing in these initiatives we are helping to create stronger, healthier and more resilient communities across Hull and East Yorkshire.
