It was smiles all round at the Malton and Norton Golf Club as 14 teams came together on 1 May 2025 for the Health Stars Golf Day.
The day was all about raising money for the Better Days Appeal, which aims to transform a space on the Fitzwilliam Ward at Malton Hospital into a dementia friendly day room.
A big congratulations to the winning team, Countrywide, who took first place, with Dixon Group coming second and JLES Group Ltd in third. The competition was close, but the spirit of the day was all about having fun and making a difference.
A huge thank you goes out to everyone who played, donated, and supported us – especially our brilliant sponsors, with a special shout-out to our headline sponsor Humber Projects. Malton and Norton Golf Club were fantastic hosts, and the course looked amazing all day.
Health Stars Charity Manager Anita Green said:
“Thank you to everyone who took part in the Golf Day, either as a player or a sponsor. It was great to see so many people having fun whilst raising money for Health Stars. Thanks to all the Humber Teaching NHS Foundation Trust staff who played, we’re so grateful for your support.”
The event raised over £7,700 which will go directly towards creating a more comfortable and supportive space for people on the Fitzwilliam Ward.
