It's fantastic how many applications we have received but it has meant that we have had to make the decision to pause applications for the Community Mental Health and Wellbeing Grants.

The panel will be meeting regularly over the next few months to review all the applications we have received so far and if we are in a position to re-open the applications we will promote this on our social media.

If you have any questions please do not hesitate to get in touch: hnf-tr.communitygrants@nhs.net

Our Community Mental Health and Wellbeing Grant scheme supports community-led ideas that respond to the mental health needs of people across Hull and the East Riding of Yorkshire.

The programme aims to enable local groups to empower people to put their wellbeing first.

Thirty-six fantastic projects have been supported as part of the programme since it was established helping explore new ways to deliver and connect mental health support within communities. Projects have hosted a range of activities including educational sessions, arts projects, gardening schemes and wellbeing and movement classes.

With a renewed budget for 2025/26 we look forward to receiving more applications and awarding more grants across our local area.
