Water bottles

Our North Yorkshire Community Service provides community nursing across Whitby, Scarborough, Ryedale and Pocklington, seven days a week.

The Scarborough Hub contacted Health Stars to help fund water bottles to support staff wellbeing and the Trust’s wider mission to go Green!

Sarah Locker, Community Service Manager said: “We believe that supporting the health and wellbeing of our staff is vital to providing great care. As we provide care in people’s homes, it means our staff are travelling between patient visits throughout the day. Keeping hydrated is an important part of staying healthy which is why we wanted to give our staff a water bottle.

“We also wanted to help our staff be more sustainable as we are passionate about supporting the Trust’s Green Plan to become net-zero by 2035.

“At our Prospect Hub in Scarborough we installed water coolers to help reduce waste where staff can fill their water bottles.

“We also thought the bottles would be a lovely welcome gift for new team members, as part of the equipment they are provided with on joining the team.”
