Barratt and David Wilson Homes has donated £1,500 to Health Stars as part of its Community Fund scheme to support our Better Days Appeal.

Barratt and David Wilson Homes’ donation was made as part of The Barratt Redrow Foundation, which is designed to support national and local charities, large and small, across the UK to leave a legacy in the communities in which the housebuilder operates.

Our Better Days Appeal is raising money to create a day room on the Fitzwilliam Ward at Malton Community Hospital.

Anita Green, Charity Manager at Health Stars, said: “We were thrilled when Barratt and David Wilson Homes chose us for this donation. It was a wonderful surprise and a real boost for our team to have our vital work recognised and supported.

“The Community Fund initiative makes a meaningful difference to the charities involved, and we’re incredibly grateful to the staff at Barratt and David Wilson Homes for backing Health Stars.

“This generosity will have a direct impact on patients at Fitzwilliam Ward, as well as their families and loved ones.”

Daniel Smith, Managing Director at Barratt and David Wilson Homes Yorkshire East, said: “It’s a privilege to contribute to Health Stars and help enhance the experience of those using NHS services in our region.

“We’re grateful for the opportunity to give something back and support the dedicated teams who care for our communities every day. We hope this donation will help make a real difference for patients, families, and staff."
