Thanks to funding from Health Stars, Mill View Lodge, a mental health inpatient unit for people aged 65 and over, has received a new projector to enhance activities for patients.
The projector is already proving a fantastic addition to the ward, with patients enjoying film nights and coming together to watch major sporting events.
Lisa, Activity Coordinator at Mill View Lodge, said:
"Our patients absolutely love it already, and we can see it bringing lots of fun, engagement and enjoyment to the ward. We are incredibly grateful for your support in helping us create positive experiences and meaningful activities for our patients."
Bringing patients together to enjoy shared experiences, such as watching a film, can support recovery by reducing feelings of isolation and creating opportunities to connect with others.
