The Humber Youth Action Group, part of Humber Teaching NHS Foundation Trust, has raised over £167 in its latest fundraising event for Health Stars.

The bucket collection, which took place at St Stephen’s Shopping Centre in Hull, was planned by the HYAG Charity Champions to raise money to support the transformation of Rivendell House in Driffield, where the Trust’s Core CAMHS service is delivered.

The Trust’s Core CAMHS (Children and Adolescent Mental Health Service) provides specialist assessment and treatment for children and young people up to the age of 18 who are experiencing significant emotional or mental health difficulties.

The Humber Youth Action Group (HYAG) was developed to bring together young people aged 11–25 from Hull and the East Riding, with the aim of helping Humber Teaching NHS Foundation Trust improve services for children and young people.

Debby, a member of the Humber Youth Action Group said,

“It was such a fun and meaningful experience, meeting new people while supporting a good cause that really matters. It was both enjoyable and rewarding, it felt great to have a good time while making a difference, with so many people willing to give and hear about what it was for.”
