A group of Health Stars Superstars laced up their running shoes on Sunday, 29 September 2024 to take part in the Humber Bridge Half Marathon and raised an amazing £1,868 for the Charity.
Health Stars where the official charity partner of the half-marathon organised by Run Through, who arrange runs throughout the UK.
The group which included Trust staff and members of the public, supported each other around the course which started and finished at Hessle High School.
“I’m so proud of Tom, Luke, Philip, Ellie and Phil for completing this challenge and raising a fantastic amount in donations”, said Anita Green, Charity Manager. “Their support means that we can continue to make a difference to the people who use the Trust services and those who care for them.
As well as raising money for the charity, four out of the five runners smashed their PBs!
