Health Star Dream Granted for East Riding Partnership Addition Teams

Thanks to a successful Health Stars Dreams funding application, the East Riding Partnership Addiction Service Teams have new televisions for their waiting rooms. The Health Stars' Dreams programme facilitates access to funding exceeding £5000 to turn service improvement visions into reality.

The feedback from service users has been overwhelmingly positive. While waiting for appointments, clients have been able to enjoy the calming presence of TV which has served as a positive distraction, a conversation starter, and a way to reduce anxiety ahead of their sessions.

These TVs will also be used to promote local organisations, support services, and community resources tailored to their client group, strengthening engagement and signposting opportunities.

Jess Murfin, Service Manager for the East Riding Partnership said "This has been a welcome and impactful addition to ours ervice spaces, reinforcing our commitment to making treatment environments more inclusive, comfortable, and recovery focused."
