Health Stars is the official charity of Humber Teaching NHS Foundation Trust. By taking part in this run you are helping to fund projects that make a real difference to patient care, such as:
improving access to cancer screening for people with learning disabilities;
the creation of a new resource library to support the mental health of new and expectant mums;
an aromatherapy service for children and young people accessing CAMHS support.
You can read about these projects, plus other ways we have enhanced patient care across the Trust, in our Impact Report.
The Haltemprice 10K starts and finishes in the East Yorkshire village of Kirk Ella. The course takes in some beautiful scenery along closed roads and provides just enough of a challenge to keep even the seasoned striders on their toes.
