Christmas Star Appeal

Help us spread joy this Christmas with our annual star appeal.

The holiday season is a time for joy, family, and giving. But for many patients on our wards, it can be a time of loneliness and uncertainty. You can make a difference.

By donating to our NHS charity appeal, you will help deliver gifts to patients spending Christmas on one of our wards. Your support ensures that every patient, from children to the elderly, receives a thoughtful gift that can brightens their day and lifts their spirits.

Your gift can provide a moment of joy and a sense of normalcy in a challenging time.Every gift is more than just an item – it's a message of love and hope. It's a reminder to our patients that they are not alone, that their community cares.

Just £10 can provide a present that will spread the joy of Christmas to those who need it most.

Give a Gift

We know that some supporters would prefer to hand pick a special gift.

This year we have put together a special Amazon Wish List full of specially selected presents chosen by our teams for their patients. Think of it as our our very own Christmas list for Santa!

We also have the option to buy a gift to say thank you for our amazing NHS staff, especially those that are giving up time with their own friends and family and working this Christmas.

You can also drop gifts off at our Trust Headquarters in Willerby, East Yorkshire and other collection points at Whitby Community Hospital and Malton Hospital (Fitzwilliam Ward). We will publish our wish list here in November.
