Persimmon Homes – Team Yorkshire

Health Stars, along with two other Yorkshire & Humber based groups has scooped a £5,000 cash award as part of a leading housebuilder’s successful campaign supporting under-18s.

Humber Teaching NHS Foundation Trust’s charity, Health Stars, Kingston upon Hull Junior Hockey Club and 1st Easingwold Scout Group received the funds from Persimmon Homes which has handed out more than £1,000,000 in cash prizes to organisations across England, Scotland and Wales, as a part of its hugely successful Building Futures campaign.

The three groups represented the Persimmon Homes Yorkshire region and joined 96 organisations from Moray to Plymouth in getting to the final stage of competition, with the winners announced at a gala dinner following a public vote.

The money received will go towards providing a therapy garden at the new Child & Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) in-patient unit which will serve our region.
